 This tip is better suited to your next character if, like most people, you have played the tutorial. As you begin the mission, there is a locked entrance that you must open. As soon as the door is opened, you are ambushed by a gunman and shot in a short cutscene. Your corpse will then be stripped of all loot. RNG looting remains in place for the prologue. It gives you an RNG of the basic gear, plus the Free Loadout Supplement, which increases your backpack capacity and allows you to carry more, up to 35kg. Only the lack of a Safe Pocket is a downside to this loadout. It features 14 inventory slots as well as 4 quick-use slot. The Augment can only be used if you make it through the run.

 To upgrade to a Looting Mk., as quickly and easily as possible, take the now unlocked Free Loadout Augment. Lance at the Clinic. These bags have more backpack slots, nearly 50% more carry capacity, and Safe Pockets.

 After you have a blueprint, you can use it to craft the Looting Mk. This is the 2nd Augment. It has a 60kg max loadout weight, 22 slots in backpacks, 4 quick slots, 3 slots devoted to Trinkets alone, and two safe pockets for ultimate protection against loss. Bonus passive may come in handy.

 Trinkets

 Trading Trinkets allows you to accumulate large amounts Coins. If you have plenty of backpack space, you'll need to decide what to bring with you. Not only must the item be worth a lot, but it should also be able to stack and have a large number of them. It is more valuable to find multiples than a single rare-tier Trinket.

 You may need to consume some Trinkets. Even though it isn't recommended, consider doing this if you are able to accomplish two goals at once: benefit from the Trinket's consumption and open up a slot for more valuable Trinkets.

 Loot Prioritization

 Salvage is the best option when you have too many loot items from Topside that you want to bring home to Speranza. Or even recycling them correctly for the maximum Material drop. But, it is better than doing nothing. This strategy allows you to spend more time in the wilderness, since you will be trying to fill up every backpack slot.

 Best Loot Places

 You can view the loot area in two ways. One has a low risk, avoiding confrontation with other Raiders. Stay away from centrally-located loot zones and stay near the edges. Explore any structures to find loot. These outer extractions points will be less frequented and therefore more secluded. Spaceports are ideal for a relaxed approach because they give you more time on Topside.

 The colors of the Looting Zones can help you predict where Raiders and other players will congregate.

 The second method involves a high-risk approach, where you must select maps with special conditions such Night Raids and Launch Tower Loot to maximize loot. You must be prepared for the worst.
