U4GM GAG 2 Items: Eclipse Bloom Growth Guide

Eclipse Bloom has turned into the garden project nobody can stop talking about. It looks simple on paper, but the plant is painfully slow, expensive to raise, and easy to mess up if you rush the setup. For players collecting GAG 2 Items, learning how the bloom reacts to watering, placement, and server updates can save a ridiculous amount of time.

How Eclipse Bloom Actually Grows

You need a Sun Bloom and a Moon Bloom placed side by side. Use a Trowel on the pair, and they merge into Eclipse Bloom, a secret-rarity plant with a growth timer that feels almost broken. The early stages crawl along. Even with Super Watering Cans, the progress bar may barely move, which is why many players leave the pot running while they work on other garden tasks.

Fireflies add another layer to the whole thing. Each one is meant to increase the size of newly planted crops by 2%, and testing suggests the effect stacks when several are active in the same server. The reported ceiling is 50%, which works out to 25 Fireflies. The wording matters, though. It says newly planted crops, not harvested fruit, and that difference has caused plenty of arguments. Some tests show a clear size change, while others barely show anything at all. Server timing, plant age, and fruit rolls may all be involved.

The Current Player Routine

The Meta: Stack Fireflies around every fresh Eclipse Bloom.

The Snag: The bonus may barely affect the fruit you actually harvest.

The Fix: Test one plant first before burning rare resources.

Reality check: Most giant harvest screenshots came from old servers, lucky rolls, or both, so don't treat every claim as normal.

What The Numbers Look Like In Practice

The pot-moving trick is the part that changed everything. After using a Super Watering Can, some players picked up the flower pot and placed it down again. The growth stage jumped forward. Repeating that little loop could mature Eclipse Bloom after one can instead of dozens. It was fast, cheap, and clearly not intended behaviour.

Setup Watering Cost Expected Result
Normal growth Dozens of cans Very slow progress
Old server glitch One can reported Rapid stage skips
Firefly setup Up to 25 Fireflies Up to 50% crop-size boost

The Question Everyone Keeps Asking

A lot of players are asking whether moving the pot still works on fresh private servers after the latest update.

Usually, no. Newly created private servers appear patched, while a few older public servers may still carry the previous behaviour.

What Players Should Do Now

If you find an older server where the trick still works, don't assume it'll last. Server versions can change without much warning, and repeated pot movement may stop working halfway through your test. Take screenshots, note the server type, and compare the same plant with and without Fireflies. That gives you a much better idea of whether the size bonus is real or just a lucky fruit roll. Reports of 80-kilogram Eclipse Blooms are believable under the old setup, while claims above 100 kilograms should be treated cautiously. The exploit saves watering resources, but it doesn't guarantee a massive harvest. Plant quality, timing, and random growth values still matter. If you're preparing for new events, many players choose to buy GAG 2 Sheckles early so they can stock up before prices and server mechanics shift again.
